I am a "pre-published" writer living in a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland. These days with the ease at which writers are getting published it is a wonder why I am still unpaid. The amount of rubbish out there makes you think and then pity the dwindling writing industry, I mean I have a website too!! They are letting everyone write something these days. The opinions out there are appalling and they range on several topics. I initially applied to several local publications to get mine printed but they denied me, several times I might add so like everyone else, I got my own website and will continue writing until I get a deal.

 

I write a lot of fiction in short stories: mainly fantasy with a deep but subtle religious message and undertone. I also write non-fiction describing my experiences, the ones that really matter to me and I think you may find interesting. I also do poetry in verse as I am too lazy to try any other form. Won a couple of amateur awards doing that which seriously helped my ego.

 

When I am not writing, I am working because I have bills to pay. I also preside over a non-profit organization helping college students with HIV/AIDS in Africa, we are called the 'The Smiley Group' and we do a lot of work with information and free testing. We also help with the violence situation on the campuses (as an ex-student,i had first hand experience), some of those campuses are war zones. On this site I will be discussing several topics and giving my opinions on almost everything out there. Since I am naturally an introvert it should be easy filling this site with my opinion!
